Submit your model information to us for consideration of one of our jobs

Mail us a current COVER LETTER, RESUME, and COMPOSITE CARD to P.O. Box 1224, Riverview, FL 33568-1224, to be considered for any of our modeling jobs, including upcoming jobs. There is no cost to be considered for any job, and you are not obligated to buy anything; it is free!
All submissions remain active and are kept on file for two years. Models need to be 18 years or older to be considered for modeling jobs, or, if under 18, only with the total permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly solicit anyone under the age of 18 for modeling jobs. Models must be 18 years or older for age-appropriate modeling jobs.
Please continue reading for more details.

WARNING: WE CHECK THE SOURCE! We will not consider any models who are responding to a job offer post on any modeling web site which is not directly affiliated with us. We will not tolerate our job offers being stolen and used to bait models into a scam on another web site. You MUST tell us that you are responding to an offer on "Florida Modeling Jobs". Other acceptable sites are Tampa Bay Modeling, Florida Models, and Independent Modeling. We may also post ads on Craigslist, but these will directly link to Florida Modeling Jobs, will not hide our identity and contact information, will not refer to any other party, and you can verify that it was from us. If you see one of our job offers on any other web site, please let us know!

We are not a modeling and talent agency. We do not have a talent agency license, because we are not an agency. We do not make any money referring models to any job, especially because we do not refer the models - the models refer themselves. We do not represent or manage models, nor do we provide models directly for modeling jobs. We only provide a free, easy to use online platform to make the modeling job offers visible. This web site is only for the use of models 18 or older, or, if underage, with the guidance and participation of a parent or legal guardian. Use Florida Modeling Jobs at your own risk; we do not guarantee any job offer on this site, and use of this site, in any way, waives us of all claims of liability.
Although we do attempt to screen offers, this is, in no way, an assumption or acceptance of liability.
Submission of any material is considered to be an acknowledgment of compliance with the terms and conditions governing Florida Modeling Jobs. For more, please read and review our Terms Of Use (TOS) and Legal Disclaimer.

To submit to any modeling job offer directly offered by Florida Modeling Jobs, we require the following to be physically mailed to P.O. Box 1224, Riverview, FL 22368-1224.
All submissions are active and are on file for at least two years from the most recent submission or update. If there are any major changes with your submitted material, such as new comp cards, you will have to submit those updates to us to keep our files current, as our information on you needs to be as accurate as possible; we recommend updating your marketing material, which includes your comp card, every 6 months, or every quarter if you are busy and booking a lot of work, and to resubmit to us when you do. Misrepresenting yourself as a model, either intentionally or through the use of outdated marketing material, will cost you work with most modeling jobs, as we, especially, take this very seriously. Comply with our requirements, and you will be excellent shape, by default, to submit and to be considered for any modeling job in Florida, without having to go through or be dependent upon any agency! You will even be able to compete directly with agency models! This is especially true because we will encourage modeling jobs to adopt our standards in the instructions on our web sites and the job boards on our web sites in regards to how to evaluate and book models into their job. This said, read and follow our instructions carefully, because this information is here to help you.
We do not share submitted information with second or third parties, and treat it as confidential. We avoid using submitted information to solicit anyone, and so do our affiliates, as the information is used for the consideration of a job. For more information, please read our legal disclaimer. For a list of our affiliates, please check our Affiliates Section.
There is no obligation to buy any products or services, either from us or from our affiliates, to be considered for any modeling job. Be aware that modeling job scams often require you to buy something in order to be considered for a job, and these “offers” need to be avoided and reported. We will not do this to you, obviously, as take great pride in being reputable and ethical. We also care about professional models and the integrity of the modeling industry.

To be considered for one of our jobs, we require the following items to be mailed to us. In our opinion, these items should be sent to any other modeling jobs, too, without being asked to after you obtain permission to submit your information, as it will increase your chances of being considered.

1. A COVER LETTER
A cover letter with your name, stats, contact information, availability (including what parts of Florida that you can work in. Most of our jobs are in the Tampa Bay area, where we are based out of and operate from), and the domain name (URL) for your web site (Sure, your social media and/ or modeling portfolio profile will be accepted, but you will lose credibility compared to models who have a real web site with a domain name, such as yourname.com or modelyourname.com. The more that you can show a professional investment into your career, the more seriously you will be taken. Freebie tools will not get you far, and will make it impossible to compete with professionals who do not make that mistake).
Information should also specify what job which you want to be considered for, or, if there are no current job offers or any current jobs which you are interested in, that you would like to be considered for any upcoming modeling jobs from us.
In your cover letter, you should also introduce yourself and tell us about your experience, and why you would like to be considered for the job.
There are free instructions for how to properly compose a cover letter on Independent Modeling, Florida Models, and on Tampa Bay Modeling.

2. A RESUME
A current resume with your modeling work history.
Don’t be fooled. Most modeling jobs, and that includes us, will not book a new model without experience into any job (if you ever hear any modeling job offer claiming that no experience is necessary to be considered for a job, run, because it is our experience, and opinion, that it is a scam. If you were a business looking for a model to use in your marketing, which costs you money, would you hire a model with no experience? Such offers are usually modeling schools which use the job offer as bait to trick the model into contacting them so that they can sell them what they are really doing. It’s deceptive marketing, and fraud, and needs to be reported!).
If you are a new model without experience, sure, we will consider you for a job, but that does not mean that you will book it, especially considering that you are trying to compete with experienced professional models. Who do you think will book it?
How do you get experience if you do not have it? Invest in a modeling portfolio with a legitimate professional modeling portfolio photographer (It does not have to be us, but keep in mind that you are only as good, and as marketable, as your portfolio). If you can’t book work as a model, simply create your own job or project, make sure that it has verifiable results, and use that in your resume. Show that you have value as a model!
If directly submitting for a job, make sure that your work history does not conflict with the job. This means that if you have “sexy” pictures out there (even if not submitted with your material, but any pictures that can be found in an online search) or risque material such as glamour, boudoir, or modeling in skimpy bikinis, it is going to limit you ability to book most modeling jobs if it conflicts with the public image of the company which is behind the job. To be as marketable as possible, keep your work professional and family-friendly. If you are underage, your marketability as a model will be destroyed if you have age-inappropriate material out there, so stay away from sexy! Model your age!
For more information of making your modeling career as marketable as possible so that you have a chance to book most modeling jobs, there is free information and tutorials on Independent Modeling, Florida Models, and on Tampa Bay Modeling.

3. A COMPOSITE CARD
A current composite card, which services as photographic “business” card highlighting your portfolio.
Please make sure that it is current, too. If your hair color, for example, is different from the one on your composite card, then your comp card, also known as a zed, is outdated, and misrepresents you as a model. This can backfire and cost you jobs!
A standard composite card should have a headshot on the front with your name printed, and four more pictures, each of a different look, on the back, including your stats, which include things such as measurements. There are no hard rules to the design or the number of looks on a comp card, however; just be sure that each look is different, and shows your range of looks as a model. The comp card should be as high quality as possible; in today’s era of affordable, high quality digital presses, printing out comps at home on a printer or using a laser printer on flimsy paper is inexcusable. The comps should be printed on heavy 14 PT stock which is printed using a 4/4 color process and have a UV coating to resist fading. Of course, the difference in a good comp from a mediocre, less marketable one would be the design and the quality and relevance of the photographs used.
Professional models need composite cards to be taken seriously.
For more on composite cards and what makes a good comp, there is free information available on Independent Modeling, Florida Models, and Tampa Bay Modeling.

If anyone has any questions or issues, please email us at FloridaModelingJobs.
Please note that we do not open any attachments emailed to us, and that emailing us information is no substitute for following the instructions above. Emailing us information is acceptable, but we also require a cover letter, resume, and a composite card to be physically mailed to us.

To submit to any second or third party modeling job, please follow the contact and submission instructions with the job spec description. Consideration for all job offers must be free of charge, with no obligation to buy anything. If any modeling job tries to sell you something, it has a high risk of being a scam, and you need to let us know about it so that we can address it with them. We do not, and will not, post any offers which are modeling jobs scams or which are from, in our opinion, any party which is questionable. This said, all model assume all risks and potential liability for submitting information to, interacting with, or attempting to book any modeling job offer.
